Watch without arranging the scene

Do not handle, chase, feed or reposition wildlife for photographs. Stay on permitted routes, keep noise low and let your guide set an appropriate distance.

Use light thoughtfully

Discuss torch and flash use before a night walk. Follow guide instructions and stop if an animal appears disturbed. A missed photograph is preferable to a harmful encounter.

Keep sensitive locations private

Share a broad region when posting photographs. Avoid publishing exact locations of vulnerable wildlife. Langur’s experience stories describe habitats without publishing exact wildlife locations.

Respect people as well as places

Ask permission before photographing people. Community visits need agreement in advance. Take waste away and leave rocks, plants and natural shelters as you found them.
