Getting there & getting around
The sample starts in Thakhek and ends around Kong Lor. Confirm the actual pickup location, transfer times and onward transport before agreeing to a route.
When to go
Ask how recent rainfall affects trails, water crossings and evening access. Choose dates around safe conditions and your wildlife interests.
Walking & comfort
Discuss uneven ground, darkness and walking duration. A shorter walk or a landscape-focused day may suit travelers who prefer a gentler pace.
Before confirming your trip
